Take the Time to Look at the Colours

Have you ever noticed the way the sun winks goodnight in the evening sky as it takes with it a cloak that would make Joseph envious?  But to be more specific, the incredulous fact that each night wears a different cloak to bed.

Have you ever noticed the shapes in shades of blue, as you witness a vast expanse of water from the top of a mountain?

Have you ever noticed the way a stretch of sand dons a chameleon skin to depict a mood and reflect the weather?

Have you ever noticed how weathered dunes compete with the grass for different forms of brilliant greens?

Have you ever noticed how the sun reflects down on the ocean like a diamond encrusted bracelet and dances around as if listening to its favourite song?

Have you ever noticed how the distant land has shades of silhouette rendering it a seemingly magical place of mystery?

Have you ever noticed how nestled shells smile up at you with undiscovered hues?

Have you ever noticed how the people provide a confetti parade as if in celebration?

Have you ever noticed that even the most greyest of skies is bouncing with exciting tones?

I have noticed as I am fortunate enough to live in a beautiful place that I can recognise these things nearly every day.

Your best writing yet Nickie, those precise and crisp adjectives add ‘wow’ factor. The description really gives it kick-ass appeal. Keep it up and you’ll be hired soon : )
