Sometimes I wonder if in the big scheme of things whether everything will be ok. I’ve been severely burned many times before, but what rings true is that I have survived those many times before and I know that if the occasion arose, I could do it once again.
Creating a positive attitude for myself and immersing in it like jumping into a swimming pool on a hot summer’s day is going to help me wade through those times that punch you right in the baby-maker. Ultimately, if you are holding your head high above the water, everything will be ok. Of all the times that I could’ve laid down and been steam-rolled, I chose to get up and not be flattened to the point where I was completely smooshed into the ground and unable to peel my way back up.
The power of self-determination and strength is amazing isn’t it? You in charge of you; determined to have a life that you are happy to be living and living in a life where every little thing is going to be alright (thank you Mr Marley).
So when I ask myself whether everything will be ok? I take a moment to sit back and reflect, take a deep breath and realise that ‘Yes! I can handle this and everything will turn out as it’s meant to and I will be absolutely fine!’
